Artemis Hunting Knife Handmade

The Artemis hunting knife has a beautiful, traditional shape. The round and tapered upward running handle fits exactly into the palm of one’s hand. The total length of the knife is 26cm (10.2″). The hollow ground blade is made of 440C stainless steel tempered to 57-58 HRC. The steel is first heated to 1066 degrees Celsius and then rapidly cooled (quenched) in oil. The length of the blade is 12cm (4.7″). The handle is made of buffalo horn. The buffalo horn is attached to the tang with epoxy and stainless steel pins. The bolster is made of brass. The sheath that comes with the knife is made of dyed natural leather and can be attached to a belt.
