Many people think farming is like a business where weather conditions and the growth of vegetable can be controlled. Although we try our best to work with the weather forecast and planting times, remember global warming has impacted farming tremendously.

Firstly we do the best we can do and then leave the rest in the hands of God, we don’t give up, we make plan, we go at it again and again.

Remember every person has a different farming method and every day new methods are created or innovated. So don’t be taken aback when you see a farmer doing something different to what you were brought up doing or practiced daily, rather listen, than give your opinion, you might learn something new, unless you see they need help.

Bear in mind, taking millions and putting it into farming does not make you a good farmer. Let us rather say, it makes you a good looking farmer, well for as long as it lasts though, because eventually it still boils down to ‘how skilled a farmer you really are’. On the other hand, tractors and implements definitely make life easier, but don’t really change the bases of farming. For example, the use of a hoe or mechanical plougher, either way, both still turn the soil. However, taking nothing and making it into something, now that’s a skilled farmer. Take note many millions are spent and lost in agriculture daily, but many a small farmer can become a successful vegetable farmer, turning them into millionaires. So be veggie Wise!
